Poker Club

Never fear, Poker Club isn't dead -- it was just sleeping. We'll be back in full force bring you the opportunity to get your poker on Friday the 24th of October.

We'll gather at our place and start the evening at 7PM, as is our tradition, with the Practice Round. This will help level-set things by making sure everyone understands how the betting works, etc., and also gives the Clones an opportunity at play...

Then, at 8PM, we'll begin the Big Event: a $10 buy-in No-Limit Texas Hold-em Tournament. firstfrost will return as your Designated Dealer for the evening. If the main tourney finishes early enough we may fit in a second round (with possible Turbo (or even the dreaded Double-Secret Turbo) variations).

April brought us our most well-attended Poker Club yet, including our first-ever multi-table¹ start. Let's see if we can duplicate that success in May.

At 8PM, we'll start the Main Event, a $10 buy-in No-Limit Texas Holdem Tournament. If we end up with another multi-table start this time, we'll organize a second game so the early outs have something to do.

It's as much a social thing as a poker tournament (we have dinner at 5:30 and cards at 7:30).
